Cognitive Behavioural therapy
Looking at thoughts, emotions and behaviours to understand your current patterns, and work with you to reinforce more helpful ones. Evidence and protocol based BABCP-accredited approaches, in line with NICE guidance.
Taking a holistic approach so that you can make longer lasting change. Together we can discuss elements of mindfulness, relaxation, breathwork and nutrition.
Mind and Body
Following an initial consultation to discuss your needs, an initial assessment is conducted which will last up to 75 minutes. In some cases, we may need more than one session to understand your journey to treatment. In these cases, additional sessions will be the same length as a treatment session (50 minutes).
Therapy can last anywhere between 4-20 sessions depending on your goals and main difficulty you have come to share. Together, at regular progress reviews, we will look at how far we have come to reaching your goals and work together to decide how many more sessions we should have before we review again.
In my practice, I prefer to take a tailored approach to treatment planning; after 6 sessions you may feel like you achieved what you came for, for others it may be we discuss further support as we go along.
I offer support for clients over the age of 18, online via video consultation.
